Voicing
Piano voicing is the process of adjusting the density of the felts covering the hammers striking the string to produce a warmer or brighter tone. You can determine if your piano needs a voicing service if the sound is uneven or does not sound “good” to you even though the piano is in tune.

Tuning
Piano tuning is more than simply tightening or loosening the strings. The Piano Technician must also adjust the tension on each string so that it matches an idealized mathematical curve called an “equal temperament”.

Regulation
While tuning corrects the pitch of your piano, regulation attends to the touch and uniform responsiveness of your action. Regulation corrects a piano’s mechanical elements to compensate for wear such as the compacting and settling of cloth, felt, and buckskin, as well as dimensional changes in wood and wool parts due to changes in humidity.

Polishing & Cleaning
Restore your piano to its former glory by booking a cleaning or polish to reverse time on the brass and cabinetry finishes. Not only is this important for resale photos but is also an important aspect of piano maintenance.
